You do. The employment contract is always between the employer and the worker.

The practical side
How long does it take to hire from India?
For tech and engineering roles with a Blue Card or highly skilled permit, two to four months is typical. Regulated professions such as nursing take longer because of language and recognition.
Can we interview candidates remotely?
Yes. Most first and second rounds happen by video. Many employers also run practical tests through partners in India.
Can we hire for roles below Blue Card thresholds?
Often yes, through national work permits, quotas or shortage occupation routes. It depends on the country and the role.
Can an Indian company hire a European for a role in India?
